Is there a safe place in the church to be confused about our sexuality? If we admit to a struggle with same-sex attraction, how will our fellow Christians view us? These are the questions Zach and Kate had while growing up in the church. In this episode, Zach and Kate share how we, the body of Christ, can learn to come alongside our brothers and sisters instead of making them feel shunned and unwelcome. Unfortunately, 86% of people who identify with the LGBTQ+ movement come from a religious background. They find more love, acceptance, and support in the LGBTQ+ community than in the body of Christ. Let’s change that by removing the stigma of it being a “worse sin,” admitting our own sin, and loving and supporting our church family amid their questions and struggles.
